Seems hard to believe it has been a year. It seems like she was just with us yesterday. I think about her all the time. I wish we had been given more time together. )=

Thank you for your words and encouragement regarding this song. In the early 70s I was music director of a small church, and occasionally on Wed nite we would take requests for hymns. An elderly couple had moved to the area in north Florida, and requested the song (in the All American Hymnal). No one had heard of it, but we were always open to learn something new. The song really struck me with its message and lilt. It has become my favorite song, along with How Great Thou Art that shows Gods mighty power and how little and limited we are compared to Him. Still, most people dont know it, but now I am the elderly one requesting it. I hope many people search out this great hymn, and gain a sense of how close God really is to those who have accepted Him as their Personal Saviour and turned their lives over to Him. Thanks again.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for your comment. My heart is warmed in knowing that God is getting the glory through my feeble attempts at blogging.

I saw the new baby pics on your blog. She is precious!

Thank you, Teri. Your post was recommended to me by a good friend who also happens to be a psychologist. After a morning talk in which I whined and complained about my current circumstance, he knew I needed the be reminded of the truth so powerfully proclaimed in these lines - "I then shall live as one who’s been forgiven...:

I shall.

Hey Margaret!

Carolyn is my aunt... my Dad's sister. I just called her to see if she has an email address, but didn't find her at home. When she calls me I'll email you and let me know what she had to say. This is so fun!!

Thanks for the sweet comment about my blog. I need to get back at posting. There is much I could share, I just don't sit still long enough sometimes! :)
