Along with snowflakes and butterflies, I also love music – all different styles of music. However, I must say that opera and country take more effort on my part to enjoy. But, they are beautiful in and of themselves as well. I have learned that country music and jackhammers don’t go together so well though! I had an MRI of my brain (yes, they found that I had one) last January. The sweet little tech that was running the machine asked me what kind of music I liked listening to. I told her that anything was fine, that something soft would be nice. (especially with your first MRI!) She loads me all up in the tube and the country music starts a-playin’ and the hammering of the imaging starts a poundin’. Believe me…not a calming combo! When you put some wonderful words of Praise to God with some beautiful melodies, however, I’m set.
This past Christmas my youngest sister gave me a copy Jon Murphy’s CD Seek First. This truly is one of my most favorite CD’s ever. I recommend it highly and have given many copies to friends. Jon has a beautiful voice and a precious testimony that you can read here. He loves to share his talent to bring honor and glory to God.
