Friday 20- Update

On Wednesday this week, as my sweet hubby posted for me, Dad took Mom to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital here in town. Since arriving home from Tulsa, Momma has been experiencing some swelling in her abdominal area.  We’ve tried since she got home to get her into doctors here, but were told that the second week [...]

Complications

Fay was admitted to the hospital today as a result of a fluid buildup in her abdomen. Please keep her and the family in your prayers–prayers for strength and discernment as Fay continues to struggle with her illness. More will be posted here by Teri as she gets additional information. Very Blessed

It’s been three days since Mom and Dad got home and I must say that each one has been very full.  They’ve been full of praise to God for His continued faithfulness, full of things to do, and full of the generosity and love of Mom’s friends and the congregation of the Evangelical Methodist Church.

My middle sister is in flight to Tulsa as I type.  She will help Dad drive the two-day journey home.  So, sometime Sunday evening, Mom should [...]

Friday check-up

One more doctor’s appointment on Friday folks, and then Mom and Dad may be headed home!  There’s still some follow-up to do and some monitoring of her potassium level that needs to take place, but other than that the Oklahoma journey may be close to being over.  Wow!
I’ll let you know tomorrow if they’re [...]

I hear that Yellow doesn’t look so good in and on Mom! I guess she wore my sister’s yellow spring coat to the doctors,  and everyone agreed that it wasn’t the best color choice given that her skin was trying to be about the same shade!
The great news is that after a [...]

Mom had a pretty rough night last night.  When I spoke with her last evening her throat was sore from the procedure yesterday.  Throughout the night, she has been sick to her stomach multiple times.  My sister plans to call the hospital this morning, because the doctor told them that throwing-up would not be normal. [...]
